Various types of rolls

Y-Roll

The above roll is called a Y-roll. What makes this an interesting roll is the drive end shown in the center and right pictures. Not only is the end milled out, but it is also padded with a cobalt base wire making the surface very hard. The roll is solid with the body 12" in diameter, 60" face and 86" overall in length. The body also has a 0.120" per side taper.

Brush Roll

The above roll is a brush roll. J.K. makes the shafts for these rolls and purchases the brushes from outside sources. After assembly, we dynamically balance them prior to shipment to our customers. Also, we take old rolls and replace brushes for our customers.
